I have never been inspired to write any poetry. However I spend quite a lot of time reading and appreciating other people's poetry. In particular I like poetry by great spiritual seekers. Spiritual poetry can convey the essence of spiritual consciousness more effectively than any other medium of writing.
As a student of Sri Chinmoy I have read many of his poems. In particular I like his earlier and longer poems which convey in beautiful language a range of experiences and emotions felt by spiritual seekers.
