'Enthusiasm, dynamism, and self-giving in abundant measure'. - Tejvan

In May 2007, a few months before Guru's departure from this world, he gave me a spiritual name: Tejvan. Sri Chinmoy says that a spiritual name reflects the qualities that the soul wants to manifest in this particular incarnation.

I have to admit that when I read the qualities enthusiasm, dynamism and self-giving, I didn't particularly think I embodied these qualities, at least not when I first get up in the morning, anyway. It's not just false modesty to say this, but what I do feel is that the soul's quality is something to aspire to. It is also a reminder that the soul wants to do much, even if the body and mind are not always so willing.
